man that took me forever to find the button to write a new one of these. tricky technology. i'm not a legalist, i'm a recovering traditionialist, the ironic thing is i do the same things eveyday to avoid being traditional. hrm.

- dead leaves and the dirty ground

well it's been an interesting string of days, daniel and i are building the greatest go-kart ever imagined, i know you wanna but don't even atempt to contrive some story that tops our kart, we'll run you over. anyways, hopefully today we'll get the new sproket and wheels. been going to the river a whole lot, rope swingin' my arms into oblivion, i'm so sore. it was fun to see sarah and rachel atempt, i'm certain with a little more effort diane will change her mind, ok, no she won't but it's certainly wishful thinkin', (you're missin' out diane) i went to the gas station last night and was puttin' some gas in (obviously) and the krispy kreme guy shows up, so i figured, "hey, the old ones gotta go somewhere" that's right, i walked out with two dozen doughnuts simply for my amazing attitude, ok just kidding, it's cause i'm so dagone cute. i atttempted to play music for hanover church of christ last night, can anyone say, "rusty?" not the guy, i am, my iron has begun oxidation so i'm a little rusty. people are at camp this week, so i might go visit, i have to get my liscense today for my motorcycle, i'm so silly for not having it. so perhaps i'll get my license, call daniel to see if we're workin' on the kart, maybe try to go to the river, and then maybe try to go to camp. i'll probably fit food in there somewhere. i'm feelin' like i want some snowshack this afternoon too

here's a thought for everyone i read last night,

"As the bible was said and constantly affirmed to be the religion of Protestants, it was for some time a mysterious problem why the Bible alone, confessed and acknowledged, should work no happier results than the strifes, divisions, and retaliatory excommunications of rival protestant sects. It appeared, however in the case, after a more intimate acquaintance with the details of the inner temple of sectarian Christianity, as in many similar cases, that is it not the acknowledgment of a good rule, but the walking by it, that secures the happiness of society. The bible in the lips, and the creed in the head and heart, will not save the church from strife, emulation and schism. There is no moral, ecclesiastical, or political good, by simply acknowledging it in word. It must be obeyed."

(from The Christian System, by Alexander Campbell)

ok i gotta shower. enjoy.

contemplating if i should begin the crazy (often temporary) journey into xanga. i used to use the journaling service, years ago, and have clearly tappered off a bit. i don't really check other people's much, not as often as i do myspace. i supposed myspace is easier for me. i suppose the question i should ask myself is do i enjoy writing here? i mean, i could ask, "do other people read this?" but the sole purpose for having this isn't exactly for the benifit of others, it's a journal, namely, my journal. in addition i doubt anyone does/would/will read this regaurdless, haha. i could also have the follow up question, "well, who does read this? leave me a comment if you do" but that's a little cheesy and probably not a good rendition of who infact would read this, cause i'll read some peoples and never leave a comment, usually cause i'm lazy, which would bring up, another point, i'm pretty much the laziest person i know, beaten perhaps only by Dale Wayne, so there's probably a good chance someone would indeed leave comments and enjoy my rantings. another question could be, "do i have time for such an expidition into the xanga community" i mean, i'm a busy man, time is money, do i want to spend my money on xanga? just kidding, this is taking me like a total of 45 seconds. here i die-gress back to my originial question, "do i enjoy writing here?" haha, the answer is clearly yes, i enjoy it, so i'm back. sound the trumpets.
